SCPD: Center Moriches Man Arrested for 2nd Degree Murder After Fatally Stabbing Mother

November 20, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have arrested a man who fatally stabbed his mother in Center Moriches, New York on Friday, November 17, 2017. Christopher Storm Harrison stabbed Joyce Skarka during a domestic dispute at their home, located on Union Ave., at 9:41 p.m. Skarka, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Suffolk County Chief Medical Examiner.
