State Figures Show Harrison Superintendent Gets Highest Pay

Top administrators in New York's public schools have seen their salaries increase by an average of 10 percent in the past six years, and the superintendent of schools in Harrison is expected to receive the highest schools salary in the state in 2016, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. While Harrison's superintendent is set to make more than $334,000 this school year, Dutchess County's highest schools earner is likely to be its superintendent of schools, Joseph Phelan, who is set to earn $205,000 this year, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
