West Harrison, N.Y.: Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito says that a commission should take a look at the statue of Christopher Columbus in Columbus Circle because of his alleged mistreatment of the native population he encountered. As an Italian-American, I am disgusted by this politician who condemns everyone who does not meet her socialist views.
