Homeless rough sleepers in Cirencester targeted after fire set to a tent behind parish church

An unknown offender sneaked into the area behind Cirencester Parish Church, where four homeless rough sleepers stayed, shortly before 10.30pm on Tuesday, February 7 and set fire to one of the three tents at the site. One tent was burnt down and another was damaged, according to Christian missionary group Cirencester Signpost, who looked after the rough sleepers after the incident.

Thief crawls into store to steal children’s magazines

A British shopkeeper shared video of a bizarre theft where a man crawled into the store on all fours and grabbed magazines meant for young girls. Sunny Patel, owner of the Best-One store in the Knowle district of Bristol, England, posted CCTV videos to Facebook showing different angles of the Friday incident at the store.

Wiltshire-based law firm Royds Withy King acted as lead advisers to the sellers of one of the largest providers of insurance services, Higos Holdings Limited, on its sale to Global Risk Partners for an undisclosed sum. Appeal on refusal of 88-home plan in Siddington to take place this month

AN APPEAL hearing on the refusal of 88 new homes in Siddington, decided in summer last year, will be taking place this month. The planning application for 88 houses on the land south of Love Lane, Cirencester, by Siddington Primary School, next to the proposed Chesterton development, was unanimously refused by Cotswold District Council ‘s planning committee last year on August 10. An inquiry, estimated to last for four days, will begin on February 28 at 10am.
