Call to vet film before it’s shot

New Delhi, Feb. 14: Shree Rajput Karni Sena, which claims to have got Sanjay Leela Bhansali to remove romantic scenes between Padmawati and Allaudin Khilji in Padmavati and was blamed for an attack on the filmmaker, now wants pre-censorship of all films involving “historical” figures. Pre-censorship essentially means getting a film’s script vetted before shooting begins.

Blackbuck poaching case: Jodhpur Court summons Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre for hearing on Jan 25 Jaipur, January 13: A local court in Jaipur who are listening to the blackbuck poaching case has asked Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan actress Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre to appear before the court on January 25. Earlier there were reports that the Jaipur court will announce its judgement in the arms act case against Bollywood actor on January 18 but it seems that the court will take one more week to announce its judgement in blackbuck poaching case.
