Man from Banbury reported missing

Keith Michael Jervis, 53, was last seen on February 16 at the caravan park, Corner Meadow, Farnborough Road, Mollington, near Banbury. He may have been in the Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell area and is known to have links to Pembroke Dock in South West Wales.

Pembrokeshire director nominated for Wales Theatre Award

A POWERFUL bilingual play aimed at dispelling the myths of dementia has earned a Milford Haven director a Wales Theatre Awards 2017 nomination. The Torch Theatre ‘s artistic director Peter Doran, has been nominated in the Best Director category for Belonging/Perthyn, in association with Chapter Arts.

Witness appeal after Haverfordwest sex attack

Dyfed Powys police is investigating a sexual assault on a woman in Haverfordwest during the early hours of this morning, Sunday, January 29. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area between Peggy’s Lane, Jury Lane, Cromie Avenue and Portfield Avenue between the hours of 2.30am and 3.30am to call 101 immediately.

Great night at Hen Galan concert

The community of Fishguard and Goodwick enjoyed an evening of music, drama and poetry last Saturday, January 21, during the twin town’s annual Hen Galan concert. The bilingual event, which is now in its sixth year, was held at St Peter’s Church Goodwick and raised funds for three local charities: Cwtch Pembrokeshire, which supports young adults with long term or chronic physical health conditions; Crossroads carer support service and the newly opened Rainbow Cancer Support Centre in Fishguard.

George Street resident Basil Sujeeun

A DISABLED man and other residents who say they feel intimated by vandals are demanding the installation of CCTV cameras to combat anti-social behaviour in their streets. Basil Sujeeun, who has lived in Newport since 2010, has spoken out over “constant” anti-social behaviour taking place along George Street.

Review of the Year 2016

PARENTS were able to see how their local school compared to others in Wales, when the Welsh Government’s latest schools ‘colour banding’ evaluation was released. The report showed an improving picture for the county, with 13 primary schools placed in the green category , while only one – Tasker Milward School – remained in the red .
