MP for Ilford South Mike Gapes and for Walthamstow Stella Creasy have defied their Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn by voting against the UK referendum decision to leave the EU. MPs voted on whether to back the UK’s decision to leave the European Union in the House of Commons yesterday after the Supreme Court ruled there must be a Parliamentary vote before Article 50 is triggered last month.
