In fact, a New York Life survey of more than 1,200 small business owners shows that their optimism for 2017 is outpacing that of the general public. A healthy 60 percent of them expect their financial situation to improve in the coming year, compared to the 43 percent of Americans age 30 and up who are expecting things to get better.
