LA sets records for tourism, LAX traffic and port cargo in 2016
Three sectors of the Los Angeles-area economy sizzled last year, with tourism, air travel and cargo volume at the ports all hitting record levels, officials said Wednesday. Tourism led the way, with records set across a number of categories, according to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board.
