As part pf a project-based learning experience, Bronxville Elementary School third-graders are investigating how the chocolate they buy in Bronxville affects the civil rights of children in Africa. Closely related to the social studies curriculum, the students studied how chocolate is made and where it comes from before learning about the difference between free and fair trade.
