Residents in the Katonah-Lewisboro School District have signed an online petition seeking to reopen the gymnasium at the shuttered Lewisboro Elementary School so that it can be used for town recreational programs. The petition comes just days after the Katonah-Lewisboro School Board and the Lewisboro Town Board approved a 4-year lease that will allow for the town to use roughly 20 percent of LES for its police station, court and land-use departments.
