Coastal Flood Advisory In Effect For New Rochelle

Some much-needed rain will fall in the area through early Wednesday, with some spots in the southern portion of the area seeing possible coastal flooding. A storm system arriving in the area in the early morning hours on Tuesday, combined with strong winds and high tide coupled, have resulted in a Coastal Flood Advisory being issued by the National Weather Service for Southern Westchester from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday.

Heavy Rain, Storms Headed To New Rochelle

Don't let Wednesday's sunny skies fool you, it's time to pull out the umbrella as heavy rain and storms head for the area along with a cold front that will bring cooler, but drier air to the region, according to the National Weather Service. The storms and heavy rain should move into the area before noon Thursday and continue through 4 p.m. with a 60 percent chance of rain.
