Two Ossining Rental Projects Get IDA Support

Westchester's Industrial Development Agency has issued preliminary approved incentives for two rental apartment projects in Ossining with a total private investment of $118.25 million, County Executive Robert P. Astorino recently announced. "The two projects approved today by the IDA will provide nearly 300 units of market rate and senior rental housing and affordable units, and will create hundreds of construction jobs for our economy," said Astorino in a release statement.

Search On For Ossining Teen Missing Since Dec. 11

Authorities in Westchester County, New York City and elsewhere are searching for a 15-year-old Ossining girl missing for more than three weeks. Shilah Carter, whose is to celebrate her 16th birthday on Jan. 8, is believed to have run away on Dec. 11, according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services .
