NY STATE POLICE: Jazmine Harden of Yonkers woman charged with bringing drugs into Gouverneur prison

New York State police on Feb. 16 charged Jazmine T. Harden, 23, Yonkers, with felony first-degree introducing dangerous prison contraband. She was also cited with violating state sanitary code.

Troopers charge at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 16 at the Gouverneur Correctional Facility at 12 Scotch Settlement Road, after a state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision K-9 inspection of the visitor center, the K-9 alerted to a narcotic odor in a black leather bag belonging to Ms. Harden and she was found in possession of and unspecified amount of synthetic marijuana.

Ms. Harden was arraigned before Town Court Justice Travis E. Dann and was released on $100 cash bail.
