KHADER LAW PC: Mike Khader, Esq is representing “Yonkers Tribune” Publisher Hezi Aris Against two strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP) brought by Yonkers Police Department Benevolent Association President Keith Olson

“Freedom is not free” is idiom expresses gratitude for the service of members of the American military, implicitly stating that the constitutionally protected enjoyed by citizens in our democracy are possible only through the risks taken and sacrifices made by those in the military, drafted or not.

COORDINATED ATTACK: Kieth Keith Olson’s First Amendment SLAPP lawsuit comes one week after Yonkers Police Department Deputy Chief John Mueller filed a similar lawsuit

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: Attorney Mike Khader represented Hezi successfully against a similar suit filed by former Yonkers Fire Commissioner John Darcy.

FIRST AMENDMENT Many believe, now that Yonkers Police Department officers Keith Olson and John Mueller should not me seeking to abuse the court system to silence one of Yonkers’ many diverse voices and was the only media outlet in the city of hills to warn voters of Mayor Mike Spano’s behind the sceen moves to extend term limits with Majority Leader Michael Sabatino and Minority Leader Mike Breen

GIVE HELL HARRY: President Harry Truman had the best advice for thin skinned taxpayer funded public officials, when he said,”If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen”

THIS IS A DISGRACE: Right now, brave young men and women are in dangerous combat zones like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan defending the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and our American way of life only to have two thin skinned Yonkers Police Department officers make a mockery of their service with two coordinated First Amendment SLAPP lawsuits

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE: The ultimate sacrifices of truly brave young men and women should not be stained by public officials who would try to abuse the court system to silence the voice of critics by running up legal bills in a coordinated attack.

THE TRUTH IS: That brave young men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice roll in their cold graves every time a thin skinned public official files a SLAPP lawsuit to silence an American voice

Maybe these two thin skinned taxpayer funded Yonkers public officials should go visit the city’s Gold Star Mother Statue and remember they once swore to follow and protect the Constitution of the United States of America….. And that doesn’t include coordinated First Amendment SLAPP Lawsuits against a critic exercising his first amendment rights.
