Lisa Alexis Villar, age 25, of Yonkers, New York passed away on Thursday February 28, 2019 after a long and brave battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Lisa was born March 11, 1993 in Yonkers, New York at St John’s Riverside Hospital to Karen Galik and Danny Villar.

Lisa attended school at St. Paul The Apostle, Christ the King, and Our Lady of Victory before graduating from Yonkers HS in 2011. Lisa’s interests included Basketball, Softball and Volleyball.

Lisa was a warrior who touched everyone who knew her and was known for her strength and courage. She always maintained a positive attitude and would never quit.

She is survived by her parents, Karen Galik and Danny Villar. She is also survived by her maternal grandfather, John Galik of Yonkers and by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Patricia Ann Galik, as well as her paternal grandparents Helen Rivera and Franklin Villar of Yonkers.

A visitation for Lisa will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 15 Palmer Rd, Yonkers, NY 10701. An interment will occur Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at Oakland Cemetery, 2 Saw Mill River Rd, Yonkers, NY 10701.
