YONKERS: London Reyes who lost two years in a democratic primary against Legislator Virginia Perez is going to give it another shot

County Legislator Virginia Perez is not running for re-election this year and the Yonkers Democratic Committee has endorsed former County Legislator José Alvarado

London Reyes, was the president of the Puerto Rican Parade, but it was replaced by the Yonkers Hispanic Day Parade that was headed by other Latino leaders in Yonkers

In the last election London Reyes became a district leader in the Park Hill section of Yonkers

London Reyes has been an advocate for youth in Yonkers and joined rallies for public school education funding in Albany
