New Rochelle Schools Cooperate With Investigation Of Fatal Student Stabbing

The New Rochelle School District is cooperating with the local police department as the investigation into the fatal stabbing of a student last week continues. Last week, Z'inah Brown, 16, of Yonkers surrendered herself into the custody of the New Rochelle Police Department, where she was booked for second-degree murder for allegedly fatally stabbing Valaree Schwab outside Dunkin' Donuts on North Avenue.

Police ID Suspect, 16, In Fatal New Rochelle High School Student Stabbing

Police have identified a teenage suspect believed to be the suspect involved in the fatal stabbing of New Rochelle High School junior Valaree Schwab on Wednesday near the school's campus. Police announced at a press conference on Thursday morning that they are seeking the public's assistance in tracking down Z'inah Brown, a 16-year-old female whose last known address was Nepperhan Avenue in Yonkers.
