NY Rangers Legend Steve Vickers Will Appear at Yonkers’ Empire City Casino

Empire City Casino, in partnership with the New York Rangers, announced that New York Rangers legend Steve Vickers will make his second visit to Empire City Casino in Yonkers to host the next Rangers Viewing Party on Saturday, Feb. 25. Fans will have the opportunity to join Vickers to cheer the Rangers on as they travel across the Hudson to take on their rivals, the New Jersey Devils. Vickers is no stranger to Empire City Casino having hosted a viewing party early last year.

Pete Lee, Vladimir Caamano Headline Wednesday Comedy Nights In Yonkers

Wisconsin-born television comedy star Pete Lee and Bronx-raised funnyman Vladimir Caamano will headline the two Wednesday Comedy Nights in February at Empire City Casino in Yonkers. Lee will take the stage on Wednesday, Feb. 8, and Caamano's performance will be on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Both shows will take place in the casino's Good Time Room.

Black History Month Book Fair Comes To Yonkers

The Black History Month Book Fair opened on Thursday at SUNY Purchase College Center for Community and Culture, "PC4," at 16 Warburton Avenue in the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Arts District. For the two days of the Book Fair, PC4 is converted into a pop-up bookstore and library.

Westchester Communities, Colleges Set ‘Relay For Life’ Events

Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks will be lacing up their running shoes this spring all over Westchester to help fight a deadly disease. The American Cancer Society says that 13 Relay for Life events have been scheduled for May 20 through June 19. The community led events will be held in: Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, the Tarrytowns, Yorktown, Yonkers, Somers, Ossining and the Hendrick Hudson School District.
