Bit Of A Legend N invades Canada for Molson Pace

Bit Of A Legend N comes north to The Raceway at Western Fair District from his home track of Yonkers Raceway, where he and regular driver won last year's G.M. Levy Series final. One of the new faces joining this year's field is Bit Of A Legend N, who will make his first trek to Canada for trainer Peter Tritton.

Schedule of events: Grand Circuit action takes place this Saturday at Meadowlands Racetrack with a single $75,000 division in the first leg of the Graduate Series for 4-year-old open trotters. Also on Saturday, Yonkers Raceway will host a single $40,000 elimination in the Art Rooney for 3-year-old open pacers and two $20,000 eliminations in the Lismore for 3-year-old pacing fillies.

Hillosophical has four wins in 26 career starts, including a victory over the Yonkers half-mile oval on April 11. Torre has owned several Thoroughbred racehorses, including Homeboykris with former Yankees bench coach Don Zimmer, who won the 2009 Champagne Stakes at Belmont Park, Wild Desert, winner of the $1 million Queen's Plate in 2006 with former NHL player Keith Jones, and Game On Dude, who was the 8-5 favorite in the Breeder's Cup Classic in 2013 and finished 9th.
