Police Investigating Missing Northern Westchester Woman

The Peekskill Police Department is seeking the community's assistance as they continue investigating the whereabouts of a 35-year-old woman who has been missing since before Thanksgiving According to the Peekskill Police Department, April Evans was reported missing by her family on Friday, Dec. 16. She was last seen in Yonkers on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Police described Evans as 5-foot-1, 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Yonkers Catholic Charities Gets Holiday Windfall

Christmas came early for Catholic Charities and The Aisling Irish Community Center in Yonkers with the delivery of nearly 1,000 toys and coats from Empire City Casino. The casino's 10th Annual Christmas Spirit Toy and Coat Drive is intended to help ensure that New Yorkers in need have a warm coat this winter and a toy or two to put under the Christmas tree for their children.
