Suspect Nabbed In Hit-Run Westchester Crash That Killed Tow-Truck Operator

Following a three-month investigation, state police have arrested a man in connection with the fatal hit-and-run accident on I-95 that took the life of Yonkers tow-truck operator Salvator Brescia in December. New York State Police announced the arrest Thursday of 51-year-old Queens resident Anthony Mangano, who was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident , a felony.

Westchester Water Pressure Issues ‘Should Be Resolved,’ County Says

Eastchester Holding Cancer-Fighting ‘Relay For Life’ Event

Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks will be lacing up their running shoes this spring all over Westchester to help fight a deadly disease. The American Cancer Society says that 13 Relay for Life events have been scheduled for May 20 through June 19. The community-led events will be held in: Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, the Tarrytowns, Yorktown, Yonkers, Somers, Ossining and the Hendrick Hudson School District.
