Westchester Man Sentenced Following Fatal Yonkers Bridge Crash

A Mount Vernon man is heading to state prison after pleading guilty to drinking and driving his car off of the Cross County Parkway in Yonkers, taking the life of his passenger. On Thursday, acting Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty announced that Hasani Ewan, 39, was sentenced to between one and three years in prison after being charged on a seven count indictment earlier this year.

Final Suspect Pleads Guilty In Yonkers Pro Baseball Prospect Shooting

Mount Vernon resident Garth O'Neil Cole was the last of four suspects to plead guilty for their role in the shooting death of Yonkers pro baseball prospect Michael Nolan. Bronx natives Nashaun Hunter, Darren Dawson and Tejmitra Singh and Mount Vernon resident Garth O'Neil Cole pleaded guilty for their roles in the hit-and run shooting of Yonkers native Michael Nolan.
