Senate Dems say they were excluded from sexual harassment talks

NY State Issues Travel Ban For Trucks On Some Highways

Tractor-trailers have been banned on the New York State Thruway from the Syracuse area to New York City because of the nor'easter that's hitting the region. Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has issued the ban Wednesday for Interstate 90 from Exit 36 just outside Syracuse to the Albany area, and for Interstate 87 from Albany to the Yonkers-Bronx line.

The Latest: Drifting barges now beached or run aground

The Coast Guard says eight construction barges that came unmoored in the Hudson River as a nor'easter hit the region are beached or run aground along the river. The Coast Guard says six of the barges have been hauled up on shore in various locations between Dodd's Ferry and Yonkers, New York.

Yonkers Demands End To I-87 Tolls

The Yonkers City Council is asking Gov. Andrew Cuomo to eliminate the $1.25 tolls for cars on Interstate 87. The council unanimously adopted a resolution asking Cuomo to eliminate tolls near Yonkers' border with Greenburgh because toll-evaders are allegedly clogging city streets, according to this report by LoHud.com.
