Westchester Pro Baseball Prospect Shooters Scheduled For Sentencing

Three of the four men that pleaded guilty for their roles in the shooting death of 23-year-old Yonkers resident and Oakland Athletics baseball prospect Michael Nolan are scheduled to be sentenced in Westchester County Court on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Bronx natives Nashaun Hunter, 18, Tejmitra Singh, 23 and Darren Dawson, 19, are due back in court on Wednesday, after pleading guilty to violent felony charges in relation to the shooting that left Nolan with a bullet in his head outside of a Burger King on Central Park Avenue.

Yonkers Man Faces Life In Prison For Doyle Park Shooting

A Westchester man is facing life in prison after an attempted armed robbery went wrong and a man was shot dead at Doyle Park in Yonkers earlier this year. On Thursday, acting Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty announced that Yonkers resident Robert Daniels, 27, was arraigned on murder charges for his role in a May shooting that left Joseph Huguet shot and killed.
