A Westchester man faces life in prison after being found guilty of pistol-whipping a woman and her son during a violent armed robbery in Westchester last year when he got bit in the face, leading to his arrest. Mount Vernon resident Sidney Lane, 37, was found guilty of two counts of attempted robbery, violent felonies, for an incident in Yonkers last July, when he attacked a woman and her 23-year-old son in their home.
