For the second time this month , a trio of sticky-fingered shoplifters were arrested attempting to steal from the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights. On Tuesday, Yorktown police officials announced that they arrested three people on Friday, Dec. 23, who have been charged with individual counts of petit larceny.

A 23-year-old Yorktown man is in the Westchester County Jail after state police say he stabbed a 28-year-old male from Mahopac after an overnight fight at PJ's Bar, located on Route 6 in Somers, escalated. A trio of Mahopac teens found themselves on the wrong side of the law on Tuesday after they were caught attempting to shoplift hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights. On Wednesday, the Yorktown Police Department announced that three children under the age of 15 are each facing individual charges of juvenile delinquency - with an underlying charge of petit larceny - after allegedly attempting to steal more than $400 in goods from the Sears location on Lee Boulevard.
