Teens Charged With Shoplifting Nearly $430 From Jefferson Valley Mall
A trio of Mahopac teens found themselves on the wrong side of the law on Tuesday after they were caught attempting to shoplift hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights. On Wednesday, the Yorktown Police Department announced that three children under the age of 15 are each facing individual charges of juvenile delinquency - with an underlying charge of petit larceny - after allegedly attempting to steal more than $400 in goods from the Sears location on Lee Boulevard.
