Gas Shut Off After Main Breaks At Yorktown CVS

Gas was shut off Friday night to a portion of the Commerce Street shopping center after an object struck the rear gas room at CVS just before 10 p.m., the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department said. After arriving fire department units detected a strong odor of gas, readings of gas inside of the building were rapidly climbing, the department said.
