Winter is coming this summer, as the season 7 premiere date for HBO’s massive hit has finally been revealed. The announcement was made in an elaborate reveal on a live video on the show’s Facebook page watched by over 150,000 fans, as a block of ice was melted by a flaming torch.

The 30-year-old actor – who is most known for his portrayal of Theon Greyjoy in the hit HBO fantasy drama series ‘Game of Thrones’ – will take on the role of an as yet unnamed ex-Marine in the reboot of the popular sci-fi franchise. Alfie’s casting announcement means he will join a star-studded line-up lead by ‘Logan’s Boyd Holbrook and rounded out by Jacob Tremblay, Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane and Olivia Munn in the movie which will see them battle it out against the human-hunting creatures.
