Fox News has settled a $2.5 million lawsuit filed by a former contributor who said she was sexually assaulted by an executive at the network, The New York Times reported Wednesday night. According to legal documents, Tamara N. Holder said that Francisco Cortes tried to force her to perform oral sex on him in February 2015 when the two were alone in his office, however she was too afraid to report the incident to police for fear of losing her job.

In mid-November, four months after Roger Ailes resigned amid sexual harassment allegations, O’Reilly went on “CBS This Morning” and criticized his colleague Megyn Kelly for making public accusations against their former boss. On his own show that night, he told his viewers — and his female colleagues — that any allegations of harassment or assault should be taken up with human resources.

While Roger Ailes was the focal point of a media blitzkrieg this summer following accusations of sexual harassment from Gretchen Carlson, Fox News was reportedly handling similar claims against Bill O’Reilly in secret. Juliet Huddy claims that O’Reilly pursued a sexual relationship with her in 2011 and when she refused, he tried to derail her career, according to a New York Times story that’s based on a letter Huddy’s lawyers reportedly sent to Fox News.
