Srinagar, March 9 – Two suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and a civilian were killed on Thursday in a gunfight between militants and security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The Central Reserve Police Force , who conducted the operation along with police, said the gunfight started around 4 a.m. in Padgampora village following a tip-off.

Lowestoft man Alex Baldry appears in Norwich court charged with drug possession offences
Alex Baldry, aged 20 and of Beaconsfield Road, Lowestoft, was arrested on March 8 and later charged with a number of offences. These included possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply, possession of heroin with intent to supply, money laundering and possession of an article with a blade or sharp point – a lock knife.
More than 600 drivers spoken to in anniversary checks by police investigating Dean Stansby stabbing
Between 5pm and 8pm officers carrying out anniversary checks in the Ancaster Road area of Ipswich handed out appeal leaflets relating to the attack on Dean Stansby. Mr Stansby, aged 41 and of Trimley St Mary, died of a stab wound to the abdomen in Ipswich Hospital, where he had been taken after the incident on February 8. A month on from the stabbing, officers stopped and spoke to around 635 motorists who were travelling through the area and identified more than 35 people who may have relevant information to the investigation.
