Eastchester PD Chief Disagrees With Days’ Not Guilty Verdict, Report Says

Days after the acquittal of Selwyn Days , the man who was charged in connection to a pair of murders more than two decades ago in Eastchester, law enforcement officials still believe they got the right guy. According to a News12 report , Eastchester Police Chief Timothy Bonci, who's been investigating the deaths of Eastchester millionaire Archie Harris and his aide, Betty Ramcharan at their mansion in 1996, has stated that they still believe they arrested the man who committed the crime, even after he was found not guilty in his fifth trial this week.

Selwyn Days, the man who stood charged in connection to a pair of murders more than two decades ago in Eastchester has been found not guilty in his fifth trial, releasing him following 16 years of incarceration. The 47-year-old Days, of Mount Vernon, was charged with murder in the deaths of Eastchester millionaire Archie Harris and his aide, Betty Ramcharan at their mansion in 1996.
