YouTube Stars To Introduce Magazine At Eastchester Barnes & Noble

Several YouTube "stars" will be at Barnes & Noble in Eastchester to introduce the community to "Teen Boss" a new magazine for teenagers. Meredith Valiando, the founder of DigiTours will present her new magazine, Teen Boss, which "strives to inspire readers under the age of 15 to pursue their dreams and make money in the process" at Barnes & Noble on Sunday, June 25. The magazine will feature instructional articles, as well as goal-oriented activities to help its readers make money doing the things they love, according to Valiando.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks will be lacing up their running shoes this spring all over Westchester to help fight a deadly disease. The American Cancer Society says that 13 Relay for Life events have been scheduled for May 20 through June 19. The community-led events will be held in: Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, the Tarrytowns, Yorktown, Yonkers, Somers, Ossining and the Hendrick Hudson School District.

Superintendent’s Reading Challenge Fundraiser Scheduled At B&N Eastchester

The Mount Vernon City School District and the Mount Vernon PTA Council will host the Superintendent's Reading Challenge Fundraiser on Monday, March 13, at Barnes & Noble of Eastchester in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center in Scarsdale. Tickets are $75 per person in advance and $100 per person at the door.

Eastchester Auto Dealer Takes Part In New York Cares Coat Drive

An Eastchester car dealership recently contributed to a charitable effort that's bringing aid to thousands of New Yorkers in need. According to a statement from the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association , Eastchester Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership Director Alan Katz provided more than 100 coats to the New York Cares Annual Coat Drive, which collected more than 12,500 coats from car dealerships across the region.
