West Patent Elementary Students Help Needy With ‘Kiit Caring Day’

Students and staff at West Patent Elementary School brought a bit of holiday comfort to the families of ill children recently by providing them with Kids in it Together Care Packages and "Best Wishes" greeting cards. According to a statement from the school, the students collected toiletries, winter socks and snacks for the packages and readied them for delivery to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley, a facility that houses many families of children who receive long-term treatment at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla.

Pace Field Hockey Collects Toys for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital

The Pace University Setters field hockey team recently delivered toys that players collected over the Thanksgiving break to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, N.Y. The Setters collected more than 40 brand new toys during the break, and delivered them all to the Children's Hospital on Thursday. The toys will be distributed to the patients of the hospital during the holiday season.

Holiday Drives Top Briarcliff Village Manager’s Report

Briarcliff police and firefighters are conducting several drives to collect warm clothing and toys for local families in need this holiday season. Village Manager Philip E. Zegarelli noted in his latest report that the Police Benevolent Association is accepting new or gently used winter coats and new, unwrapped toys at police headquarters, 1111 Pleasantville Road at any time through Friday, Dec. 16.
