NEW YORK – An Amawalk man is being held by Yonkers City Police on a charge of attempted murder.

Pashko Gelaj, 45, was arrested by State Police and the US Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Gelaj is accused of shooting a relative with a shotgun. He had been wanted by Yonkers Police following the incident.
