Healing a divide that many people have been feeling since the presidential election was the goal of a breakfast in Purchase today. The Westchester Jewish Council held its annual diversity breakfast Thursday morning, and nearly 300 leaders of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths came together today to celebrate their different cultures and their shared values.

Nine Of Swords got their start in Purchase, NY, but over the past few years they've been pulverizing venues around New York with their aggressively passionate hardcore. Next week, they're releasing a new album, You Will Never Die , and they're sharing one advance track from it , a thrasher called "Two Step II," a companion track of sorts to a song from 2014's I Can't Stand My Own Face .

Stein will perform in concert on trumpet with colleagues from SUNY Purchase on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. at Studio Around the Corner in her hometown. Her mother's encouragement to pick up a trumpet instead of a trombone way back when Jessica was in third grade has proven prescient.

They will celebrate our diverse roots and shared values with particular focus on building bridges following a divisive election period. This year, we honor three individuals for their exemplary work "#WeWalkTogether."
