Briarcliff Manor Man Caught With Child Porn, District Attorney Says
A 45-year-old Briarcliff Manor man was arraigned Wednesday after thousands of images containing child pornography were found at his home, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino said. Anupam Biswas of Briarbrook Drive was charged in Briarcliff Village Court on one count of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, a Class D felony, and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony.
Former Westchester Police Officer Back In Court For Quadruple Homicide
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. Nicholas Tartaglione, the former Briarcliff Manor police officer turned alleged drug conspirator was back in federal court on Thursday after being arrested and charged with quadruple homicide. Last month, United States Attorney for the Southern District Preet Bharara announced that the 49-year-old Tartaglione had been charged in a five-count indictment for his participation in a drug conspiracy to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine and for the murders of four men, all of whom lived in Middletown in Orange County.
