Vice President Mike Pence said the “nightmare” of Obamacare will soon end as he visited Kentucky in hopes of drumming up some good publicity for a contentious health bill that’s united many conservatives and liberals — as well as doctors, seniors and “Obamacare has failed the people of Kentucky it has failed the people of America and Obamacare must go,” Pence told told an invited audience of about 100 mostly small business owners and Republican backers in Louisville.

President Donald Trump has promised to shake up Washington, but so far he’s produced gridlock – at least with the phone lines on Capitol Hill. Whether constituents are calling to request congressional flags, get help with a local issue – or, more likely, to register their support or displeasure with the latest move by President Donald Trump – these days they are more likely to get a busy signal or voice mail than a live human, at least if they’re calling their senator.
Bill seeks US withdrawal from UN; passage seems unlikely
If HR 193 passes, the U.S. will leave the United Nations, as well as all of its partner organizations, such as the World Health Organization. It also would kick the U.N. out of its New York headquarters.
