Convicted Felon Indicted For Attempted Murder On I-95 In Westchester

A 56-year-old felon is due to be arraigned on multiple charges, including attempted murder, on Wednesday for his role in a shooting on I-95 in Harrison over the summer. Bronx resident Jamil Fields is scheduled to be arraigned in Westchester County Court on Wednesday after being indicted on felony charges of attempted murder, first-degree assault and multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

A native of Rutherford County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Colie and Mazie Harrison Jr; wife, Ruth Joy Hayes Harrison; and siblings, Beecher Harrison and Margie Harrison Powers. He is survived by his daughters; Rita Ash and her husband Don and Judy Reed and her husband Eddy; grandchildren, Julia McKenna, Taylor Ash, Hugh Hanna, Joy Ash-Galland, Justin Reed and Harrison Reed; sister, Nancy Potts; and brother, Charlie Harrison.
