With as much as a foot of snow expected to hit the region, officials in Mamaroneck have declared a snow emergency that will be effective as of 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the state is anticipating that between 16 and 20 inches of snow may fall in the lower Hudson Valley, with more than a foot coming to upstate New York.
This week, the Mamaroneck Shakespeare Players will be performing Macbeth and The Tempest in the high school's 43rd consecutive season.
