Nearly two decades ago, Harrisonburg resident Jeffrey McClung, who sold drugs for roughly 15 years, begged for leniency in U.S. District Court. Judge James H. Michael Jr. ignored the 32-year-old’s request and sentenced him to 34 years and two months in prison.
