Region endures winter blast, with more on the way

A 60-year-old man died of injuries after he was struck by a snow plow in Bedford, a plow truck was destroyed by a fire in Boxboro, and the region was expected to be covered by more than a foot of snow as the second major storm in less than a week arrived on Sunday. A private jet owned by the Bank of Utah skidded off the end of a runway after an aborted takeoff at Hanscom Field in Bedford about 2:30 p.m., according to the Federal Aviation Administration, but it was not immediately clear if that incident was weather-related.
