President Trump Approves Major Disaster Declaration for Hoopa Valley Tribe

The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the Hoopa Valley Tribe to supplement the Tribe’s recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe winter storm from January 3 to January 5, 2017. Federal funding is available to the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe winter storm.
