Cope North 2017 is officially underway. It’s one of the largest military exercises in the Pacific Region, as Lieutenant Colonel Rafael Vargas told KUAM News, “This exercise gives us the opportunity for us air force to not only integrate with our brothers and sisters from the marines and the Navy, but it also gives us a unique opportunity for us to share our tactics, techniques and procedures with our friends and allies from Japan and Australia.”
