That family has rendered great support to Jeff, his wife, Jane, and their daughter, Jessica, in the trying days since he was diagnosed with brain cancer and began treatment at the world-renowned Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Lowell High School hosting a diabetes fundraising game

The Lowell High boys hockey team will hold its second annual Hockey Fights T1D fundraising game when it hosts Wayland High at the Tsongas Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. Proceeds from the game will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation , which is working to cure, treat and improve the lives of children and adults with type 1 diabetes.
