Cuomo: It’s not my style to go after public servants, reporters

Appearing Friday morning on Long Island, Gov. Andrew Cuomo was asked for his response to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio's refusal to apologize for his tacit allegation that Board of Elections Enforcement Counsel Risa Sugarman might have been behind the leak of investigative documents concerning de Blasio's fundraising efforts on behalf of state Senate Democrats. On Tuesday, the state Inspector General's office released a report concluding that the BOE's Republican spokesman, John Conklin, leaked the report to Ken Lovett of the Daily News as well as Senate Republican spokesman Scott Reif, who often does double duty as the spokesman for the conference's campaign arm.
