Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn, N.Y., filed a new indictment against Shrkeli and his former attorney Evan Greebel for attempting to defraud potential investors of his former drug company, Retrophin Inc. Shkreli last month announced his support for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, tweeting that people who do not like Trump "are jealous, stupid and poor! don't make me laugh! and if you are employed by media you are worthless." Both Shkreli and Greebel were arrested last December after being accused of taking stock from one company to pay debts related to other business dealings.
