John E. Brock

John E. Brock, 66, Rochester, passed away at 11:39 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. John was a 1975 graduate of St. Joseph College, Rensselaer, with a degree in economics and sociology and went on to serve as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He was a native of Advance, Missouri and a resident of Rutherford County. Douglas served in the United States Navy and worked as the Director of Quality Control with the U.S. Tobacco Company.

In Wisconsin, Bayfield County sheriff's officials say an 84-year-old Illinois man died Tuesday when his vehicle became submerged in a flooded ditch.
