The city of Douglasville has received the Medium Agency Achievement Award from the Georgia Local Government Personnel Association, in recognition of outstanding contributions in the field of Human Resources Management – specifically for health and wellness initiatives and outcomes for 2016. The city of Douglasville partnered with its current health care provider to develop a Wellness Program and implement a Wellness Team for strategic planning.
